I read Richard Branson’s autobiography “Screw It, Let’s Do It” years ago and recently decided to get it again. I follow him a little bit on Facebook and am often impressed by his compassion and insight — perhaps it’s unfair not to expect this of billionaires, but here we are 🙂

Branson is a real self made billionaire — not like Bezos who got a quarter million dollars start up money from his parents, or Elon Musk whose father owns an emerald mine and who actually bought Tesla from other guys and only pretended to be the “genius” behind it. Branson got a couple of thousand pounds from his parents if I remember correctly, and some of the ways he turned that into his billions are dazzling to me.

I feel like despite him not usually talking about metaphysics he has a good natural handle on how blissness works and in this thread I’d like to show some highlights from him and invite discussion. (I’ve now sent highlights twice to Hanna and realised that maybe I should share the love around a bit more :)).

Lovely! Thanks for sharing @sophia :).

I love the first one about the fun. This is key to my work as well. And something to remind ourselves us time after time.

I like this quote: “If it’s not fun, it’s not sustainable.”

Which for me is up to this point the only definition of sustainability that has ever really inspired me :P.

He calls it fate but this feels like what I’d call synchronicity or flow. Branson was in it!
